Our Story
I'm Josh, and Sofa Savers started in 2022 in my garage.
I bought my first used couch for $100 and sold it for $300. I was hooked. I started hunting for more couches that still had some life in them and reselling them around Hampton Roads. My mom let me borrow her minivan for pickups and deliveries. I'd fold the seats down and squeeze in whatever fit.

The garage filled up fast. A buddy let me work out of his driveway, and that filled up too.
We got our first storage unit. It didn't stay big enough for long.
We went from a small unit to a big one, then to two at once. Then back down to smaller units, and then bigger ones again once we started carrying new couches.
2026: our first week at 2201 Bainbridge Blvd, and the same room today.
Today we're an authorized Ashley dealer, and we carry our own private label sectionals that you can customize. We also sell returns and display models that are like new and cost a lot less.
Under all of that it's the same job I had in the garage. Find good couches and price them so regular people can afford them.
I'm a local kid. I went to Salem High School and I'm studying Business Analytics at Old Dominion University. If you come by the store, there's a good chance I'm the one helping you.
